Did you know that you can print on burlap using your inkjet printer? I was ecstatic when I found this out because stenciling on burlap is rather messy! This saves tons of time, and is relatively easy! Read on to see the gorgeous burlap pillow I made using this techniqueFirst you'll need to cut a piece of burlap a little larger than a sheet of copy paper (9x12-ish). Next is the secret ingredient that makes it all possible...Reynolds Freezer Paper! Pull off a piece similar in size to your burlap.
Using a hot, dry iron, iron the waxy side of the freezer paper to your burlap. Next, cut it to 8.5 x 11" (the exact size of copy paper).
Then you will feed it into your printer. I've sent my 'happy FALL' printable to the printer.
It might take a bit of tweaking to get your printer to accept the burlap/freezer paper (I've got some helpful tips on my blog), but once it starts, it only takes seconds!
I used my printed burlap to create a pillow cover for a fabulous fall pillow! Make sure you head to diy beautify to get all the details for this project as well as the free printable!
