From Thrift to Gift: Coffee & Tea Gift Boxes

Cool weather means two things: time for my favorite hot beverages AND the need for easy DIY gifts. Let's combine the two, what do you say?

I was at my local thrift store the other day, and saw these wooden coffee and tea bins. They weren't overly exciting, but I had a feeling they could each be transformed into a fun gift box.





I gave them a thorough cleaning (they did come from a thrift shop, after all) and gathered some painting supplies.





After the paint dried, I started creating my gift boxes using mugs that I ALSO scored at the thrift store. Hurray for thrifty gifting!
