Last weekend my youngest daughter married her best friend.Today I want to share with you some of the joy I still feel from their country wedding celebration. My daughter and her new husband had been dating nine years before they took their next big step in their lifelong journey together.Through high school, college, and first jobs, they nurtured their relationship. When it came to saying 'I do' they did so on the land my husband and I bought together when she was still a baby - the same land where she and her best friends built forts on in what they called their '100 acre wood'. (Yes, this was a nod to Winnie the Pooh at the time.)After my husband and I divorced, he built a new house on the same land, where he is now happily remarried. My ex-husband's parents (my daughter's grandparents) were married to each other all of their adult lives. This archway where my daughter and her husband said their vows was built from trees freshly cut from their land located less than five miles away.To continue the legacy of love they each received while growing up and as a token of their commitment to one another, my daughter and her husband planted a tree during the ceremony - one which they will plant on their first piece of land.It took the better part of a year to plan the event, and my daughter's creative spirit shined through this most blessed day.You can see more pics of the wedding decorations by clicking on the link below...Original article and pictures take http://www.hometalk.com/10200105/a-once-in-a-lifetime-country-wedding site
