An Affordable Porch Makeover

The front stoop is a place where you welcome and greet guests. Ours was in need to some major TLC and didn't send off the welcoming vibe that we wanted!

The carpet was in bad shape, and the rocks on the front of the stoop made it feel very dated.
I started out by removing all of the carpet. It was moldy and disgusting and I was glad to get it off!
After removing the carpet I also chipped all of the rocks off of the face of the concrete. Then I used Behr's concrete paint to paint the stoop.
Then I gave the porch some new life with a few potted plants.

Now the porch is a welcoming place to greet people, rather than a gross stoop that scares people away!
