A friend was expecting a boy and wanted an argyle wall to complete her nursery. She asked me to create the patterned accent wall with paint. My friend gave me her wall measurements before I began, and she painted the wall first with the color of the lighter diamond.I mapped out a plan and figured out a game plan for the argyle pattern. The wall height and width helped determine the length and width of my diamonds. Luckily it worked mathematically to have five diamonds running across and three diamonds running vertically.I went across the wall and drew lines down the length of the wall - one (center) line for each of the five rows of diamonds. From there, I marked (with dots) the corners of all the diamonds. Then, I connected my dots to draw the diamonds. And taped off my first round.I painted these diamonds. And taped off the next round of diamonds.Once all the diamonds were taped and painted, I started taping and painting the lines.I went through a bunch of painter's tape. And after all that measuring, drawing, taping and painting, the argyle wall was complete! To see the full detailed tutorial, click on the link below.Original article and pictures take http://www.hometalk.com/10074517/painted-argyle-wall site
