A few weeks ago, my mother and I planned a delicate pink baby shower for my best friend (details on that soon too). My mom is a fantastic decorator, I am more of a DIYer and cook, but we make a great team.
For this same friend, I made a personalized baby shower gift for her first little girl three years ago. I didn't blog then, so I don't have pictures. I added the baby girls name inside a frame to hang on the front door of the shower venue. It was a fun way to announce the babies name too. She still has it hanging in her daughter's room! For her new little girl on the way, I wanted to do something similar.
The babies name was a surprise, so I thought it would be neat to unveil the name at the shower by way of a little delicate pink hanger, subtly hanging over the dessert table. This gift was easy, inexpensive and just fun to make!
I hope you can do something similar for a baby shower you attend or throw for a friend. Be sure to check out my blog for detailed steps and information on the items I used.
