Can't Find a Screen Door You Like? Build Your Own Instead!

My husband and I had been searching for a screen door to add to our recently updated back porch for a couple of months. Unfortunately we couldn't find what we were looking for.
Instead of settling and just buying something anyways, we decided to build our own!

We started off by drawing what we wanted our screen door to look like. We wanted something simple and classic.
Once our design was completed, we went to the lumber yard and bought wood.





We used a table saw and radial saw to cut the pieces we need for the screen door.





Once all the pieces were cut, we placed the pieces where they would go in order to see how design. We knew it was going to be perfect for our back porch!
