I found a great dresser while out and about a few weeks ago. It was a little dinged up but other than that, in great condition. I decided to give it an autumn inspired makeover! More on www.thepainteddrawer.comHere is the before. The dresser is a great size and the drawers are large for ample storage.I also really liked the original hardware.I used General Finishes Somerset Gold milk paint on the body. It is a warm mustard yellow color and looks great with the hardware.I distressed the details and added a touch of gold paint to add some style. It looks pretty against the yellow paint. One more close-up of the detail.I sanded the wood top back and exposed the gorgeous grain.I then stained it in a deep walnut that plays off the warmth of the paint color well.Perfect colors for fall! For more before and after makeovers, check out my blog at www.thepainteddrawer.com!Original article and pictures take http://www.hometalk.com/10323234/autumn-inspired-dresser site
