DIY Fall Wheat Wreath-All You Need is 3 Items and 20 Minutes!

I've always been a fan of the harvest wheat look when it comes to wreaths, but these suckers can be pricey! Surely there is an inexpensive way to make your own, right?

Guess what? There is! This wheat wreath (say that five times fast!) really was simple and fairly quick to make and best of all, it required less than 3 items (assuming most of us have scissors on hand).
Materials needed:
*Straw Wreath Form (mine is 18 inches)
*Floral Pins
*5 Bundles of Wheat (trim them down to approximately 7-8 inches)
*Scissors

Now to attach the wheat, take a small handful, about 6-8 stems and with your floral pins start securing them to the top left side of your wreath. You're going to work your way down from there and go all the way around the wreath. As for spacing between the bundles, use the top grain part of your wheat to cover up the pins used above it and that should work as your guide. That's it! Yes, it's REALLY that simple to make this wreath!

Feel free to add a ribbon or a pretty bow (colored burlap would compliment it well) or just leave the wreath nekked like mine. This took me less than 20 minutes to make and cost me approximately $18. I snagged my wheat bundles and floral pins during a 50% off sale at my local Hobby Lobby. I'm as happy as a clam with how it turned out!
